Angevine Cabin Restoration Work Continues

4/18/2019

Curious about the progress being made at the Angevine Cabin? The winter was a formidable opponent but we have completed phase 1 of our restoration work at the cabin. We were honored to be the topic of a recent post from Indiana Landmarks about the ongoing project. A final walk through to inspect the new Perma-Chinking was completed by Dearborn County Historical Society board members on Saturday, March 30th. The next step in the process is to repair the porch, including porch railings and floor boards. Thank you to Woodward Woodcare for helping us to restore and protect this valuable landmark, and to all those who donated to make this project possible. Watch for more updates as work on the porch progresses.
