I have been a member of DCHS since we returned to Dearborn County 2019. Since then I have had an opportunity to witness first hand the level of effort required to put on the events that partially fund the organization. Examples: Greendale’s Christmas on the Avenue; the just completed Bingo event; Pioneer Days which is actually a free event, and the ongoing restoration of the Vance-Tousey House, Angevine and the associated properties. It is pretty obvious that it takes a variety of talents and volunteers to make all of this come together. However, it is also obvious that Jenny Awad is the tireless force that drives every process. She is the essential element in this organization and deserves recognition for her myriad contributions. Leave a Reply. |
